On Saturday, February 7th, 2026, Island SPACE Caribbean Museum will host Reggae Genealogy: Lights. Camera. Reggae.
The immersive audiovisual experience will take attendees on a musical journey, celebrating the influence of Jamaica music on film, television and pop culture in Hollywood and around the globe.
From James Bond to Disney, from Grand Theft Auto to Grey’s Anatomy, our Caribbean music has had an influence everywhere.

Reggae Genealogy is an immersive music festival and cultural showcase that traces the evolution of Jamaican music and its powerful influence on film, television, and global pop culture. Through live performances, storytelling, dancers, DJs, visuals, and narration, the show celebrates reggae, dancehall, and more.
This year’s theme — Lights, Camera, Reggae! — explores how Jamaican sound has shaped some of the world’s most iconic screen moments.

Yes — tickets are refundable until two weeks before the event, which is January 24, 2026.
After this date, tickets are non-refundable.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation, all tickets will automatically roll over to the rescheduled date. Refunds will be available upon request; however, as a nonprofit organization, widespread refund requests may significantly impact our sustainability. We encourage ticket holders to retain their tickets whenever possible to help us continue producing cultural programming for the community.
